About this course
Most organisations in Ghana do not lack a strategy. The document exists, the board approved it, the retreat photos are on the intranet. The trouble starts on the Monday after the retreat, when the daily work takes over and the strategy quietly becomes something people mention at the annual review.
This course is about that Monday and the three years that follow it. It is written for senior and middle managers who have to deliver strategic priorities while still running the business, and for staff in PMOs, strategy offices and delivery units who have to keep the whole effort honest. It assumes your strategy is already set. We do not spend time on SWOT or on cascading objectives; the focus is on getting the thing done.
You will follow Nsoromma Foods, an invented Kumasi-based food processor, as its new Strategy Delivery Office tries to turn a three-year plan into results. You will see what goes wrong, what the team changes and why. Along the way you will learn the 4 Disciplines of Execution, how to write an initiative charter, how to cut a bloated portfolio down to what the organisation can actually carry, how to build a one-page dashboard with honest RAG status, and how to run monthly and quarterly reviews that end in decisions rather than presentations.
The later modules deal with the human side: resistance, communication rhythm, removing blockers, changing course without losing credibility, building accountability without fear and recognising progress properly.
Every module includes templates you can copy, worked examples with cedi figures, branching scenarios and quizzes. You finish with a 90-day execution plan for your own team or organisation, and a certificate once you pass the final assessment.
